SUB-ATOMIC PARTICLES: The particles that form the constituent parts of an atom; nuetrons & protons compose the nucleus while electrons orbit this nucleus.

ATOMS: The smallest particles of elements that are the building blocks of all molecules

MOLECULE: The smallest particle of any substance that retains the properties of that substance.
